Thomas McAuley's Non-Professional History
Thomas S. McAuley was born in Longmont, Colorado. He moved to Worthington, Ohio when he was not even two, so there are few memories of Colorado. In the middle of his first grade school year, he moved again to Muscatine, Iowa until the middle of his fourth grade year when he made his last intersate move before adulthood to Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
In Tennssee, Thomas first lived in a duplex for a short time on Rutherford Boulevard, then he and his family bought a house further from town off of Rutherford Boulevard on Lynch Drive where he finally lived for a number of years until after he graduated high school.
After returning from Marine training, he lived back with his family for a short while in Mount Juliet, Tennesse. He soon found an efficiency apartment in downtown on Hayes Street in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Afterwards he moved back with his parents for another short time until, upon finding the girl he would marry, Nadine R. Roberson, the couple moved to an apartment in Murfreesboro.
Thomas and Nadine became Thomas and Nadine McAuley by the end of the first lease and decided to try living in an apartment above the garage on Thomas’s parents home in Mount Juliet. Being just too small and too far from work, Thomas and Nadine leased an apartment in Antioch which was closer to their different jobs in Nashville. Falling on hard times, Thomas and Nadine moved in with Nadine’s parents between Murfreesboro and Shelbyville. It was during this year-long stay in 1992 that Thomas and Nadine’s first son, Addison, was born. The new family’s life was now moving toward Nashville and Franklin, Teneessee more and more, so they decided to rent a condo in Franklin.
There they stayed for nearly seven years while Thomas attended college. Near the end of the McAuley’s stay in Franklin, the second and last boy, Ian, was born in 1997. Soon afterwards, Thomas and Nadine McAuley bought their first house in Spring Hill, Tennessee. They lived there for almost three years until Nadine earned a promotion that transferred the McAuley’s to Glastonbury, Connecticut, where they remained for nearly two years. Nadine earned another promotion which brought the family to San Antonio, Texas where they currently reside in the hill country overlooking the river city.
